Parts, Software, and Operating Systems

All parts, Software, and Operating Systems will be charged separately and discussed with the customer before proceeding with the repair.

On-Site New Device Set-up   $75

When a SBIT technician comes to you to assist you with everything a new device entails such as connecting it to your network, transfer any necessary data from your old device to the new one, and even answer any questions you may have about your new device so you can be up and running like a pro with your new device in no time.

Virus Removal    $75

When your computer has adware, malware, virus, worm, or trojan, a SBIT technician can remove them all.

All attempts to save user Data such as documents and pictures will be made, but some Virus Removals do result in loss of Data. SBIT E-Waste is not liable for any possibly lost Data due to Virus Removal.

Repair Diagnosis Fee    $50

 A complete PC diagnostic testing to provide an in-depth report of the current health of your computer, estimated life expectancy, and if you need any additional services.

Computer Hardware Repair     $30 + Parts

If you need to add or replace a hard drive, RAM, expansion card, or any other hardware. Parts costs not included.

Data Recovery $100 per success $25 per failure

Most of the time SBIT can recover and save any lost data including documents and pictures even if your computer wont turn on. 

PC Tune-Up    $75

When your computer is running slow, most of the time you just need diagnostic testing and a tune up.

All attempts to save user Data such as documents and pictures will be made, but sometimes the backing up of Data is not possible. SBIT E-Waste is not liable for any possibly lost Data that was not properly backed up by the user prior to service.

Mobile Repair Diagnostics     $75

When a SBIT technician comes to you for diagnostics and testing of your device.

Parts costs not included.

Software Installation      $10 ea + Software

If you are having trouble installing software, SBIT offers Software Installation Assistance. Software costs not included.

Home & Small Business Network Installation

Starting at $100 + Equipment

A SBit technician will travel to you to securely install your Home or Small Business network for use on all your devices. 

Network Equipment costs not included.

Operating System Formatting    $75

If you need a fresh start, we recommend a new installation of your operating system to make things run smooth again. SBIT can also backup and restore your documents and pictures after installation, depending on the status of the system Pre Formatting.

E-Waste Fees & Services

While most devices we recycle free of charge, there are some which we must charge some fees for due to the increased cost of processing them responsibly.

*Do note, SBit E-Waste Does Not accept any products containing refrigerant such as AC Units or Refrigerators even if empty.

CRT Monitors   $30ea

Due to the lead based glass and the high voltage components in CRT's we must charge this fee. This also includes large rear projection TV units aswell.

Flat Screen TV's                $35ea

Flat Screen PC Monitor    $30ea

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are currently not able to accept CRT or TV Recycling until further notice. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

All flat screen TV's and Monitors have a flat rate fee due to the high voltage backlights which most of the time also contain trace amount hazardous materials which must be disposed of properly.

Toner & Ink Cartridges      $1/lbs

Due to the extended time it takes to clean the parts for recycling, Printers of different Categories now have different fees associated with them.

** Large Copiers is used here to describe the self-standing MFP Printers commonly found in large offices.



Toner and Ink Cartridges are priced per pound due to shipping costs to send them to the proper recycling partner.

Magnetic Data Recycling   $2/lbs

This includes CD's, DVD's, Floppy Disks, VHS and Cassette Tapes.

*Does not apply for hard drives and Solid State Drives

Cable & Wire Recycling    $1.50/lbs

 cables and wires are reused if in good condition or are stripped of their plastic casing and then recycled accordingly.

HDD Destruction W/

Certificate of Destruction              $35

Using NIST 800-88R1 compliant media sanitation methods, Complete with a serialized Certificate of Destruction for each drive to be sanitized.
